The Prax Group announces successful acquisition of OIL! Tankstellen in latest European expansion
The Prax Group has announced that it has successfully completed the strategic acquisition of OIL! Tankstellen GmbH, following the earlier announcement of an agreement in October 2023 to purchase the petrol retail business from Mabanaft GmbH & Co KG. The acquisition of the Hamburg-based business marks the Prax Group’s entrance into four new retail markets, that include Germany, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland.

Mabanaft plans to sell its shares in OIL! Tankstellen GmbH to the Prax Group
Under the agreement, the Prax Group takes over/acquires approx. 340 service stations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Denmark, subject to necessary authority approvals.

Brændstofselskabet OIL! tilbyder fra begyndelsen af oktober BIO100 Diesel på en række jyske tankstationer. Brændstoffet er 2. generation biodiesel og fremstillet på biologisk affald. BIO100 Diesel reducerer CO2-aftrykket med op til 92 %.

Allego and OIL! tank & go establish first-of-its-kind partnership in Denmark to install ultra-fast charging network; fourteen sites underway and further expansion slated
This partnership marks the first collaboration between a gas station brand and external charging provider to install an ultra-fast charging network in the country.
Allego is developing the first fourteen sites, and expects all will be operational in the first quarter of 2024.
A Memorandum-of-Understanding (“MOU”) has been signed to install Allego chargers at all 68 Danish OIL! tank & go locations.
This opens opportunities to further the adoption of electric driving across the OIL! brand’s network of more than 330 locations spanning Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
